What Is Blue & Green Day 901?

The Mid-South Transplant Foundation, as part of the National Donate Life America’s month-long campaign, is bringing local awareness to the need for organ and tissue donation. We need YOUR help to turn 901 Blue and Green!

On Friday, April 17, 2020:

• The Big River Crossing and the Hernando de Soto Bridge will be lit Blue and Green.
• Shelby County School employees & students will wear Blue and Green.
• City and County governments will decorate their offices and wear Blue and Green.

Why celebrate Blue and Green Day 901?

Right now, there are more than 4,000 people in the Mid-South waiting for a life-saving transplant – with more than 89% waiting for a kidney (due to high blood pressure and diabetes). By participating you can generate local attention to this critical issue, spur discussion among families, and save lives in 901 by inspiring others to register as organ and tissue donors.
